TICK-OFF

Ticks can transmit dangerous pathogens. They should therefore be removed as soon as possible after biting with our bogaclean^® TICK-OFF tick twister. In no case should you apply oil, nail varnish, or other liquids to the tick before removing it as the tick can otherwise release hazardous pathogens into the bloodstream as a stress reaction.
Place the removed tick in a piece of folded paper and crush with a solid object. Flushing the tick down the drain/toilet does not kill it. Ticks are masters of survival, even under water. After removing the tick, disinfect the bitten area.
